Surrounded by lovely forest and hillsides. Peaceful and rustic atmosphere. Amazing and helpful staff. Well-kept and clean rooms.

    Everything was fantastic.

The hotel is an ideal base for hiking trips, with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The staff at the tour desk were helpful in providing information and suggestions for hiking trails in the area. We were able to enjoy the natural beauty of the coastline and mountains while exploring with our children.

My wife says that it would be great if the hotel provided more child-friendly amenities, such as a small playground or play area for the kids.

The rooms were incredibly spacious and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The outside terrace was an amazing bonus, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. All the staff were seriously polite and super helpful with information on the area. Phillip at reception was an absolute pleasure to meet and we can't wait to come back soon. The location was beyond fabulous, only 10 minutes from the summer holiday activities at the coast, in a stunning nature reserve. The simple and basic rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant was mind-blowingly good - make sure to have dinner there! The food, atmosphere, and service were absolutely fantastic. The split-level rooms were genius and the old farmstead was jaw-droppingly beautiful. The location was perfect for light hikes through the pine forests and along the coast, and a paradise for birdwatchers. And let's talk about the huge dovecote - it's seriously worth a visit, even just to see it and grab a drink. Whether you just want to chill at the hotel or explore the nearby beach or the larger city nearby, the location couldn't be more ideal. The options for different activities were endless and the cozy bar and restaurant were a super nice touch. Oh, and they were really pet-friendly - our furry friend had a blast!

Amazing views and peaceful atmosphere from the room's balcony, surrounded by natural landscapes and the sunrise. The rooms were well-built and comfortable, providing a cool breeze even in August. The helpful staff made us feel welcome and the swimming pool was a nice, quiet spot to relax. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring nearby towns and attractions. Reasonable rates made this a great value for a romantic escape.

Limited English-speaking staff made communication a bit challenging. A lack of visible menu options made dining difficult, especially for vegetarians.

Very relaxed and tranquil setting enhanced by the laid-back yet attentive staff. The 'Palomar' itself very impressive and historically interesting. Close to the beaches yet secluded enough, situated in the Natural Park, so as to feel completely removed from the coastal life. Continental breakfast was adequate though the restaurants menu was a little pricey. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful location in a remote area with plenty of walking paths and nearby beaches to explore. The hotel's rooms were charming and had a romantic atmosphere. The breakfast provided was delicious and the small bar on the premises was cozy and inviting. The view from the hotel was stunning, offering breathtaking scenery. the hotel provided a relaxing and tranquil environment for a peaceful getaway.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay at this hotel. It would have been nice to have been informed of this beforehand.

This is a beautiful old farm house converted into a very quaint but stylish hotel in a nature reserve very close to the coast. To us, this was the most amazing place we stayed during our 9 day trip to Andalucia. I would definently stay in it again. Our room was amazing, the nature walks nearby were relaxing and peaceful, dinner was excellent, a visit to the dovecot at nightime with a night cap was fun. I just wish we could have stayed more than one night, we will definently be back again!

The only downside to this hotel was that it is quite a bit of the beaten track so it is worth contacting the staff for directions.

We had a wonderful time at an amazing hotel located in a national park with stunning views. Our room on the first floor had a unique and traditional design, with a terrace where we enjoyed the breathtaking views. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. The pool was lovely and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend this hotel for a nice, calm getaway. I highly recommend this hotel.

A charming and rustic hotel in a peaceful location. Although some facilities were fairly basic, the place has great charm and the staff are very welcoming. Our meal in the restaurant was very enjoyable. The Natural Park provides cool shade on hot days and good walks.

El Palomar is certainly 'well off the beaten track', but that adds to its appeal. Anyone booking a stay there needs to understand the nature of its location.

Nestled among the pine trees in a serene rural setting, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the national park, guests can enjoy hiking and exploring the picturesque surroundings. The beautiful beaches are just a short distance away, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. The rooms are comfortable and clean, providing a cozy space to relax in after a day of outdoor activities. The friendly staff are knowledgeable about the area and are always available to provide information and assistance. Guests can also enjoy delicious meals at the on-site restaurant.

The breakfast options are limited and could use some improvement.

We were blown away by the beautiful location and lack of light pollution, allowing us to marvel at the jaw-dropping stars at night. The super comfortable room and great swimming pool were perfect for relaxation. The world's biggest dovecote was a mind-blowing sight and our delicious evening meal left us craving for more. The staff were amazing, the rooms were clean, and the hotel's rustic charm provided a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. The fabulous location offered options for both leisurely days at the hotel and exploring nearby beaches and the bustling city. The bar and restaurant had a cozy vibe, and our furry friend was warmly welcomed. It was a super chill retreat, with a lovely swimming pool and good quality food. The breakfast had a great variety, and the fresh orange juice and coffee were excellent. A perfect spot for a short stay to unwind and recharge, and although amenities were a trek away, it's an ideal place to relax.

The guestrooms at El Palomar De La Brena were so cozy and comfortable. I had the best night's sleep in a long time! The room had heating, a desk, and even a balcony/terrace. It was just perfect for a relaxing stay.

Personally, I preferred the private bathroom to be on the same floor as the room. But I understand that it might not bother others and it's just my subjective opinion.

The location in a natural park and in a 18th-century dovecote

You have to use always the car and at nights there is nothing to do around.
